From June 30 to September 18, NPC Ukrenergo sold access to interstate power grids for more than UAH 4.1 billion at auctions.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo in Telegram.
“The total cost of access to interstate power grids, sold at Ukrenergo auctions from June 30 to September 18, is more than UAH 4.1 billion. At the same time, electricity exports in the first two weeks of September set a trading record – $ 131 million,” – the message says.
Over the past week, the available volume of crossings to Slovakia and Romania has been sold in full. It is added that from September 5, its total value is 300 MW during the day and evening hours (with maximum consumption) and 250 MW at night.
In some cases, the number of bidders has increased to 12 companies.
As prices continue to decline in adjacent spot markets, the day-ahead market (RDA) in Romania averaged a base load price of around 386.8 EUR/MWh and in Slovakia 442.6 EUR/MWh. a week earlier they were €412.9 and €446.2 respectively.

In the Ukrainian RDN market, the base load price increased and on most days amounted to 88-89 EUR/MWh.
In general, the weighted average price of access to the interstate section decreased by 12.9% compared to the previous week to UAH 8.1 thousand/MWh. The highest marginal price per hour was UAH 16,000/MWh towards Slovakia on 13 September.
