A security camera captured a tour bus seconds before it crashed, killing a Brazilian country singer and five band members.
The duo Conrado & Aleksandro were seen driving on the highway near a residential street in the southeastern state of São Paulo before it overturned Saturday morning.
The accident claimed the life of Luiz Aleksandro Talhari, half of the country music duo and five band members.
Eleven other people, including Aleksandro’s bandmate, João Soares, who goes through Conrado, suffered a pelvic fracture and was hospitalized.
Local residents who heard the deafening crash could be seen jogging towards the Régis Bittencourt Highway when traffic on the road came to a halt

A residential surveillance camera captured the tour bus traveling down the highway seconds before one of its tires reportedly exploded, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle before it crashed and overturned
Marco Valadares, the country music duo’s lawyer, said the accident was caused by a puncture in the left front tire of the bus.
The Federal Highway Patrol is still investigating the official cause of the accident and whether the driver was speeding after a motorist determined the bus was exceeding the speed limit.
The driver who uploaded the video to a WhatsApp chat room noted that the bus was traveling at least 90 miles per hour. The federal bus limit is 49 miles per hour.
“The bus was speeding past (86 mph) and caught my attention. I accelerated to reach it,” the 46-year-old man told Brazilian news channel G1.
“I didn’t film with the intent to harm anyone. I have a habit of filming these things. I posted [the content] in a WhatsApp group. When I saw the consequences, I tried to erase it, but I couldn’t control it anymore.’
